Resiliency: Our Greatest Super Power

Tried and tested with trials to intense to withstand How could pain resonate in the deepest places of man? Even with this in mind, something I find, is a hidden gem in our hands. Subtle, defined, with a hint of a sparkle and shine Under pressure when created but infinitely divine, Purely created through tension, turmoil, and strife, Ending the barrage of fiery darts on the heart; a grand force unwinds. Rising with the wind’s pull on your desire to wield Passionate and justice for younger kids in this field, Open to love but getting the lesser side of the deal, With your sword, you fight the apathy, and empathy’s your shield. Ending the raves of youth taking up in their shame, Resting not in the differences but how we’re the same. Only this ability can come from you and me, Foster kids instilling hope in the younger ones we see.

Remember that your worth is not determined by where you’ve been Even if you feel the journey of this sadness won’t seem to end, Seek within the strength that’s helped who you were back then, It’s like standing tall when you lose and sitting low when you win, or Like wild, rapid river bends with peaceful rushing waterfalls diving in, It’s true! You are a God send, you’re not meant to just fit in or be unhinged, Expect your dreams to be fulfilled and dream bigger than those dreams since Nothing you have been through will stop you from those very things, you Came here not by accident, no matter what your current upbringing will bring, You are that gem in your hands, and with that, good can come through anything.
